CMJ (Church’s Ministry Among Jewish People) affirms the biblical significance of the Jewish people within God’s ongoing redemptive purposes, rooted in a post-supersessionist theology that distinguishes between ethnic Israel and the modern State of Israel.
CMJ rejects the idea that the Church has replaced Israel; instead, it believes that God’s covenant with the Jewish people remains active, with a faithful remnant included in the Church and a future promise of widespread Jewish belief in Jesus as Messiah (Romans 11:1–29).
CMJ celebrates the growing number of Jewish believers in Yeshua Messiah worldwide and upholds the unity of Jewish and Gentile believers in one body, reconciled through the cross and sharing the hope of resurrection life. It affirms that while roles may differ, all stand equal before God (Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 2:11–22).
The Ministry expresses deep sorrow for Christian antisemitism and renounces it entirely, while also urging compassion and justice for Arabic-speaking Israelis. CMJ acknowledges both Arabic and Hebrew-speaking Israelis suffering and supports efforts for relational reconciliation and restoration, especially between Messianic Jews and Arab believers.
CMJ regards the Jewish return to the land as a sign of God’s faithfulness, though it recognises the modern State of Israel as secular and subject to critique like any other state. It takes no position on final borders or eschatological timelines but opposes anti-Israel bias and terrorism while affirming the legitimate concerns of Arabic-speaking Israelis .
Furthermore, CMJ views the activities of terrorist states and proxies, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, as ideologically discriminate, antisemitic, and egregious and deplores their use of oppressive violence.
CMJ defines its Zionism as standing with the Jewish people, opposing antisemitism, and rejoicing in God’s covenant faithfulness — not as uncritical support for state policies or denial of the rights of Arabic-speaking Israelis.
Ultimately, CMJ’s mission is to share the love of Jesus with Jewish people while promoting justice
