What an amazing work of faith this Hebrew-medium school is. It may yet become the first Messianic institution to be recognised by the State of Israel. Should you wish to support it,

The tree behind Fraser Harding & Martin Weatherston is over 150 years old. It was the central feature of the hotel we used in Jerusalem, of the Australia travel agent who organised our trip and of the theology underlying the study undertaken by tour members. What a rich thread it has been from the beginning of our tour right through to the end.

Is upon us. From right to left (Hebrew style): Robert, Martin, Nathaniel, Michelle Brian, Stephen, David, Ned, Pamela, Sue, Sandy, Rose, Dell, Valerie, Wendy, Marie, Wendy and Irene. (Fraser is with the photo in spirit). We shall leave this place tomorrow with a deeper appreciation of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, His Word and His people. Shalom chaverim.

Sahar is a Messianic Jew in whom the word of God dwells richly. He has used the sites and stones of this Land to help us see beyond their historic and archaeological value to the Person who inspires their true meaning – namely Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah).

Who better than one of the group’s leaders – Fraser Harding – to introduce us to this site which challenges one to consider the question which Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, asked: “Who do you say that I am?”. This is a question which each person will have to answer sooner or later…

As you know, we do not support the root of the natural olive tree but the root supports us (the wild olive). This unusual perspective makes one wonder: what supports the root? The current tour members will tell you that you would need to come on a Shoresh Tour to find the real answer to this question.

At Qumran near the Dead Sea where our group has been learning about the Essenes and the Zealots. “We, the wild olive, do not support the root but the root supports us.” (Romans 11:18)

Standing in the northern end of Israel (the area of Dan). Along with his mate Ned, Stephen is having a mountain-top experience on tour with times of refreshing to strengthen him to walk more closely with his Jewish Messiah than ever. A new man in more ways than one!

From the scribe based at Katzrin in the Golan Heights. Each of us on this Shoresh (Roots) tour are learning heaps about the ‘derekh eretz’ = the ways of the Land. We leave the Galilee tomorrow for the Dead Sea via the Jordan Valley. “In the world but not of it”.
